Dr. Saad Jabbour
MD, CCFP
Dr. Saad Jabbour is an American Board certified in Obesity Medicine since 2022. Based in Vancouver since 2010, his clinical focus centers on obesity, binge eating disorder, and associated metabolic complications, including diabetes and insulin resistance. He currently practices at Georgia Healthcare Centre and serves as a clinical instructor at the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Jabbour earned his medical degree from Aleppo University before completing a three-year Family Practice Residency at The Ohio State University. Following his residency, he conducted cancer research at Ohio State, which was published in Cellular Immunology in 2002.
Throughout his career, he has maintained a diverse practice spanning inpatient and outpatient care, hospitalist roles, and emergency medicine, and has previously led the continuing medical education at St. Paul’s Hospital.
