Frequently Asked Questions
1
What is a corporate health assessment program?
A corporate health assessment program is an employer-sponsored preventive health service for executives, employees, or selected members of an organization. It provides participants with a structured review of their health, individual risk factors, and appropriate preventive-care needs.

Programs may include physician-led assessments, laboratory testing, cardiovascular evaluation, diagnostic services, and personalized follow-up. The scope can be adapted to the organization’s objectives, workforce, budget, and preferred level of assessment.
4
Are employees’ and executives’ health results confidential?
Yes. Personal medical information and individual assessment results are handled confidentially in accordance with applicable privacy and professional requirements. An employer does not automatically receive an employee’s personal medical findings simply because the organization paid for the assessment.

Any information provided to the employer should be limited to what has been appropriately authorized or presented in an aggregate, non-identifying form where applicable. The program’s privacy and reporting arrangements should be discussed with the organization before implementation.
7
How much time does a corporate or executive health assessment require?
The required time depends on the package and the number of services included. A focused employee assessment may require only a limited appointment period, while an executive program involving advanced laboratory testing, cardiovascular assessment, or imaging may take several hours or require more than one appointment.

Georgia Healthcare Centre coordinates appointments to reduce disruption to the participant’s work schedule. When appropriate, portions of the follow-up process may be completed virtually.
2
What is the difference between an executive and an employee health assessment?
Executive health assessments are generally designed for senior leaders and often provide a more extensive evaluation, additional testing options, greater scheduling coordination, and a detailed follow-up plan. They may include advanced cardiovascular testing, imaging, genetic testing, or other services depending on the selected package.
Employee health assessments are generally more focused and scalable for a broader workforce. They can provide important preventive screening and personalized health information while remaining practical for the organization’s size and budget.
5
Can a corporate health program be customized for our organization?
Yes. A program can be designed around the number and type of participants, desired assessment level, workforce demographics, geographic location, budget, scheduling preferences, and organizational objectives.
A company may select different packages for executives and employees or add eligible services for particular groups. Georgia Healthcare Centre can prepare a proposal explaining the recommended program structure, included services, pricing, scheduling, and coordination process.
8
Can employees or executives outside Vancouver participate?
Yes. Participants who live outside Vancouver may travel to the clinic for services that require an in-person examination, specimen collection, cardiovascular testing, imaging, or other on-site procedures.

When clinically appropriate, eligible follow-up consultations may be conducted virtually. This can be helpful for participants located elsewhere in British Columbia or for executives who travel frequently.
3
What tests are included in a corporate health assessment?
The included services depend on whether the participant is enrolled in an employee, comprehensive executive, premium executive, or elite executive program. A program may include medical-history review, physical examination, blood pressure and body measurements, laboratory testing, and cardiovascular or metabolic risk assessment.

More comprehensive packages may include additional cardiovascular testing, ultrasound, full-body MRI, genetic testing, bone-density assessment, or CT coronary calcium scoring. Testing may be adjusted according to the participant’s individual history and clinical needs.
6
How can corporate health assessments benefit employers and employees?
For employees and executives, a health assessment can improve awareness of personal risk factors and provide practical recommendations for preventive care and follow-up. It can also make it easier for busy professionals to complete multiple coordinated services through one program.
For employers, offering access to preventive health services can demonstrate an investment in employee well-being and strengthen the organization’s health-benefit offering. Although no program can guarantee reduced absenteeism or increased productivity, supporting earlier attention to health concerns may help reduce avoidable health-related disruption.
